One of my favorite things to do is spoil people. Seriously.. it can sometimes be a downfall if I'm not careful! (haha) Another thing I love to do is shop! So shopping for my new inspirational teen brand reps was so easy for me to do! I hit up a few of my favorite stores to grab some gifts to fill these adorable boxes I found at Target. I wanted to send all of my reps something to let them know how grateful I am that they want to represent VRP.
When I read through their applications and saw all of the amazing things they're doing in their school and communities, I KNEW I had to do something special for them! So, what did I do, exactly? Here's a break down of everything that went in to their surprise packages!
I picked up gorgeous white with gold trim boxes from Target along with some super cute thick cardstock name tags, brand-themed folders, white yarn, confetti envelopes, navy blue latex free balloons, brown paper confetti, brown paper roll (for mailing), and LOVE notes. From Bath & Body Works, I grabbed some body lotion, mini candles and shower gel. From my printing company, I ordered the custom card-stock "What Now?" info cards on mountboard that I created using some of my favorite teen shots from 2015, a Congratulations print on linen paper (my favorite!), 3 mini gift vouchers on glossy photo paper and some printed materials including a VRP timeline, welcome letter, About Me and information about the program & marketing kits! I have a box FULL of makeup that has been sent to me from many different companies to use or give away to clients, so I made sure to give each of the girls one of my favorite mini palettes from 3 of my favorite brands! Lastly, I tossed in a confetti popper I picked up at the party store so each of them could celebrate the fun news! The package for our one male rep hasn't been delivered yet, so I won't spoil what was included in his! Look out for that blog post to come next week!
Here's a better look at the printed materials that were included!
To pack them, I put a layer of brown paper confetti inside the boxes to secure the items. I placed a shower gel or lotion inside, a mini candle, a confetti envelope, a hand written note from me, a mini makeup palette, a copy of She's So Glamorous Magazine, 2 business cards each of She's So Glamorous & Loving the Skin I'm In, printed media mentioned above packaged neatly in a brand-themed folder (the business cards and mini vouchers were tied neatly with twine or yarn), a confetti popper, a balloon, confetti on top of the folder and a "Congratulations" photo to finish it off! The box was closed off and tied shut with a double strand of white cotton yarn and a hand-written calligraphy style name tag was tied on each. The packages were then neatly wrapped in brown paper and dropped off at the post office!
2 of my reps received their packages already and popped a photo of them up on Twitter! Take a look!
So there you have it! Photographers, if you're looking for a fun way to thank those who want to represent your business or even previous/current clients, I highly recommend you put something together just to say thank you! Have FUN and remember to get things that represent both you & your business but also your reps! I hope you enjoyed this Tuesday Tip! If you did, be sure to comment below!
HAPPY TUESDAY, FRIENDS!
