Whew! What an amazing week this has been! I am still reeling and wrapping my head around all that we've done over the course of the week. So many fun things!
Last Saturday (the 18th), we took the kids to Luray Caverns in Luray, VA. The drive up was absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Of course, everyone slept on and off the entire trip so there were moments where I was able to sit in peace, alone in my thoughts and just thank God for the beauty that was around me. Being on the mountaintops always makes me feel just a little closer to God and I'm definitely o.k. with that!
We stopped for ice cream and snacks in this little store that was absolutely adorable. Seriously, like something you'd see in the movies. After we visited Luray Caverns, we saw a tower that Zophie immediately compared to Rapunzel's tower. So, when we drove by, she instructed us that we all had to be very quiet because Rapunzel was asleep at the very top. I just LOVE her imagination.
Here are some of my favorite shots from the trip (slideshow):
The trip was the exact fuel that I needed to get me through this week. This week consisted of wardrobe fittings, meetings, planning, cleaning, organizing, downsize, minimalizing, photo shoots, wardrobe crafting, shirt cutting, pant shredding, armor painting and of course, being mommy and wife! Whew. I feel exhausted just thinking about it all! But goodness has it been so much fun! If you want to stay in the loop with me and what I'm up to during the week, you can follow me on Instagram.
